Hey, Future Priest -- how is it going?

Hope the danger of tornados has passed and you are doing better with your math. keep us informed!

Praying for you!

The danger of tornadoes will stay with us until Sunday. The only question weighing on my mind is how strong the winds will be, otherwise known as X in my equation I'm trying to do...

I hope in this case x=0 :)

That would be quite convenient. The last time x=311 per hour, and the tornado was 1.7 miles wide. When it hit, it lasted eight minutes. So yes, I would be glad if x=0.

My algebra teacher was very plain-looking, but she had a really hot live-in boyfriend named Van. Van drove a motorcycle. She would get really behind in grading homework and hired students to come in on weekends to help her. (I was one of them-- that's how I know this.) We were at school for a long time helping. Van brought us lunch. When we were done helping her for the day, she drove us home in her VW Beetle. :| This is what I remember from algebra class.

This is why I su.ck at math.

Best reason for sucking at math that i have ever heard. I laughed out loud.

I LOVE that answer!!!!!!

I always seemed to come up with the right wrong answer, too.....!

That makes me remember one of my high school final exams.

They had put us into the gym with about 3' around each chair, determined we would not cheat. :bobby: :getaclue:

We had been told to keep our hands above the desk, and not to do anything that would look like cheating.

I had set my glasses on the edge of the desk... and accidently knocked them off.

Without even thinking, I reached down to pick them up (feeling around because I sure couldn't see them.....) and found myself stairing at the shoes... and then the shocked face of my chemistry teacher. :shocking:

He looked at me - said something like, "give me one good reason to explain what you are doing."

I straightened up and held out my glasses in one hand and the lens of my glasses in the other... and blinked at him myopically.

:twitch:

He wandered away muttering, "well that was a bit drastic...."

:hehe2:
