missionseeker
the smallest one was 8.1 but she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and gained four pounds in two weeks. Dominic was 11 lbs and 8 oz.David was. 10 lbs 15 oz. and our scrawny boy was Daniel at 10 lbs and a quarter of an oz. my niece was more than nine pounds. so yeah... big babies. MissScripture
Thank GOD my son didn't take after his uncle. My oldest bro was over 10 lbs. Your poor mother, Cat. I hope you all get her something very nice for Mother's Day every year!
missionseeker
we neverget Bernice things on mothers day. that a day to make up for other 364 days of neglect the rest of the year. we get her nice things all the time. haha. one year I remember we got her this set of Christmas dishes that she had been wanting for about three years. my older sister and I arranged that it be sent to the house in Christina's name so she could say she was shipping stuff home frlm school for the summer . she and I drove home all day Saturday and got there around 11:00pm and wrapped each individual box and packed them back in the larger boxes and woke my mother up at about 11:40 so that she couldn't say we gave it to her on mothers day. its kind of a joke between us older girls and my mother. (cheaper by the dozen) of course we do celebrate mothers day. and we actually planned to get those dishes for a LONG time before mothers day but with shipping and collecting the contributions from my six siblings it just wound up getting there the week of mother's day. plus my sister and I hadn't been home for five months at that point so thyself how it turned into. a big joke. Autumn Dusk
I'm glad my bro's and I are all around the same age...a year apart and I'm the second so I don't remember either of my "little" brothers as babies. My youngest cousins on the other hand ARE babies. They were born when I was in High School. They're 9 now...almost 10. It's freaking ridiculous.
