Thomas Michael
I've been friends with some guys who formed comedy troupes. (I'd link you to a website, but their humor can be quite nasty and irreverent.) I keep hoping at least one of them will hit it big... so far they've only had bit parts in commercials and low-budget indie movies. A couple of them moved to L.A. and one is now in NYC. So if you see any of these names in a film or a show anywhere, and they become famous, they'll be the ones I have something of a connection to: Rory Scholl, Chris Rager, Chad Cline, Mark Orvik, Josh Martin, Mike McFarland, John Clark, Chris Cason, Korey Miller, Devin Dillard and Marc Rouse. Oh, and if you see a lady named Katie Derrell hosting a show on HDNet or elsewhere, I know her too. She was in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" for a half-second... as one of the little kids at the water park that Napoleon visits. Thomas Michael
If anyone ever went to a live Barney show in the late 90's, you probably saw Josh Martin out there performing.... he was the guy in the Barney costume. So I'm connected to Barney the Dinosaur.... kinda sorta.

Dave
My sister, who works at an accounting firm in Nashville, has country singer Keith Urban as one of her clients! For the record, she's also met Terri Clark there, and she's seen Joe Nichols and Dierks Bentley there as well. Also, she and I both went to the same school as Kenny Rogers' son Christopher. He was in kindergarten when my sister was in 2nd grade (I was in 7th grade at the time). And another thing about my sister -- before her current job, she worked at a music video production company (also in Nashville), and she worked with people who had worked with all sorts of country stars, and she heard her share of gossip, which I won't repeat. But she didn't get to meet many, as she was mainly on the business side. However, she did meet Cledus T. Judd, the members of the group Lonestar, and the members of the group Emerson Drive (she even went out drinking with them ). Colleen
My uncle, who lives in Tennessee, once managed a restaurant for Lori Morgan and he also painted Leann Womack's house. As for me, well, I've seen the Pope! Oh, and evidently, I share a common ancestor with Sir Francis Drake.

homeschoolmom
I went to high school with Steve Zahn. Let's see... he was in the Tom Hanks movies, That Thing You Do and You've Got Mail. He was also in Joyride (which I went to see just because of him). He's been in a bunch of other movies that I won't see even if he's in em' (Riding in Cars with Boys, Daddy Daycare etc). Back in school we were in our production of Our Town... He was the lead, George Gibb... I was a dead person...
