I need to make cheesecake for Easter. Any suggestions for recipes for a good cheesecake? I've made plain cheesecake the last two years and I want to switch it up. I was thinking about turtle cheesecake or some sort of chocolate cheesecake. Any suggestions?

Anybody who has to put coagulated milk in dessert is just not trying!

Make a stollen, instead.

Same applies to vegetables in dessert.

LOL, I just made cheesecake tonight because I went to the store and had a craving. I didn't want a whole lot of fat, so I considered Jell-O pudding cups in Strawberry Cheesecake, but I don't like how they taste. Edward's has good cheesecake, but it's loaded with saturated fat. I would highly recommend the No Bake Jell-O Cheesecake. You can use a pie plate or get some baking liners and make mini cheesecakes using a muffin pan like I did. It turned out scrumptious! My mom doesn't like plain cheesecake and I bought the original kind so I used some Strawberry preserves on top and it was really yummy. :)

Philadelphia Cream coagulated milk has a pre-mixed Cheesecake Filling. If you use that, all you need is a graham cracker crust which is really easy to make or buy pre-made.

Here is a great recipe for Low-Fat Turtle Cheesecake. BTW, what time are you serving Easter supper?

Does it have to be cheesecake? I have an amesome recipe for a Tres Leches cake that's to die for!

I don't have a recipe for a flavored cheesecake, but I do have a recipe for the best cheesecake ever. It really is the best recipe I have tried. Being a total cheesecake ADDICT (it's my favorite!!) that is really saying something!!

the joy of cooking is the best one ever. Someone literally paid $60 because they knew I made the cheesecake. And the Joy of cooking is the one I used. I believe that it is a google book. Just look for the new york style cheesecake.

If you can't find it, I have the recipe... somewhere. They also have a chocolate one, and a pumpkin one, but that might be weird at easter.

You could also do a chocolate gnash with fresh berries and that would taste amazing and not be plain. You could even drizzle caramel on top.

I'd go for Oreo cheesecake! I'm sure you rolled your eyes because it seems like it would be kiddish, but it is actually great! Here are some good recipes:

Just order one from the cheesecake factory. No one will know.

We don't have one of those near here. The closest is 2-3 hours away.

Considering I've made a cookies and cream filling for my husbands birthday cake a week ago, I am sure it would be delicious. ;)

lol, probably around 6. Easter is the one time of year I make cheesecake. This will be my fourth time making it. The first time, it turned out really nicely, but cracked at the very, very end of the cooling time. The second year, I was on the phone with someone and totally forgot about it in the oven, so the outside got really brown, but the inside was still delicious. And then last year, I was at my parents' house and discovered that their oven was a lot hotter than mine, and it was again very brown on top, but still good inside. This year, I will be using a new oven, again, so we'll see how it turns out. lol.

Plus "gnash" is fun to say, though, I think it's spelled ganache .

I'm with Mission. That's the same recipe I use. You can always make berry toppings and have it on the side. I do that a lot. I need to make one for Easter, too, and I've been thinking raspberry swirl. Mmmmm.
