r2Dtoo
The basis of your argument is the behavior of observed corpses, obviously discounting organisms external to the human corpse.
When did I say that? I specfically said,
science has been studing dead things since ancient Greece, and in that time not one single report has ever been filed of something dead getting sick.
Explain to me how that discounts organisms external to corpses. It includes them actually.
Scientists invented video games, and many biologists from the CDC were consulted in the creation of the film, which was only released after the video games because they were worried the movie wouldn't be popular.
The CDC? lol... If you actually look past the billboards, and look at the point behind the various incarnations of the CDC's zombie campaign you see that the CDC is just trying to get people prepared for emergencies.
CDC instructs on preparations for Zombie Apocalypse Published 19 May 2001 There are many exotic diseases the Atlanta-based U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is investigating, and about it which it warns Americans; few followers of the health agency were prepared for its latest post: “Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypseâ€; the post, written by Assistant Surgeon General Ali Khan, instructs readers how to prepare for “flesh-eating zombies†– zombies similar to those one sees in movies like “Night of the Living Dead†and video games like Resident Evil; CDC spokesperson said: “It’s kind of a tongue-in-cheek campaign—- We were talking about hurricane preparedness and someone bemoaned that we kept putting out the same messagesâ€
http://www.homelands...mbie-apocalypse In other words, all that shows is that we, as Americans, are now so stupid that we must be entertained at every waking moment of our lives--even when people are trying to show us how to save our own butts--or our brains shut off and we won't listen. That's it. No one at the CDC is seriously arguing that zombies are going to come and eat our brains.
Hence evolution.
Do you know what a virus is? It's not even an organism. How is something like that supposed to evlove anytime soon into something that will make the dead want human brains?
And science grows by leaps and bounds, as evidenced by the invention of electricity.
Correction: Scientific knowledge grows by leaps and bounds, not science. What else am I expected to believe a virus being able to "adapt in"? Perhaps a virus could adapt to cause me to believe I was born from a ceiling fan, or perhaps one could adapt to make me type the complete works of William Shakespere without ever reading him, but why would one do that? Am I understaning you correctly?
Well, if it says it on wikipedia, it must be true.
Maybe, maybe not, but what exactly were you trying to pull with the Ford reference to begin with? It's easy to devlop a scientific theory when you have very little facts to work with like Aristotle with atoms, and Copernicus with viruses apparently, but there are way too many facts known about viruses and atoms these days to still give those theories any credit. Bush was behind 9/11, and it sure wasn't Oswald on that Grassy Knoll! Guy #2: Dude, speaking of grass, pass that joint! Seriously, why would I entertain every crackpot consiparcy theory out there? These days we take photos of them, and study them.
