Byzantine
So I saw in another thread that if a Roman Catholic is in Italy, they're bound by Italian Holy Days of Obligation. Problem: I think my particular Church only has jurisdictions in America. So what would I do if I found myself out of the country?
CatherineM
Try not to think of Days of Obligation, try to think of Days of Opportunity. If you go to mass on a day that isn't a technical Holy Day of Obligation, they won't kick you out the door.
cappie
It depends on what you mean by "your Church" If you belong to an Eastern Rite Church then you are bound by the Canon Law of the Eastern Churches.
