So I recently went on a trip to Italy for spring break, and the drinking age over there is 16 while in the states it's 21. I'm 17, and I did drink while I was there. I didn't drink to get drunk, but I did get a little buzzed one night unintentionally. I mainly drank to try the italian wines and drinks that I can't really get back in the states. Is this a sin, and should I confess it if it is?

We can follow the laws of another country while staying in that country. So You did not break the law. You said you got "a little buzzed unintentionally" so it's not a sin as it was not your intention.

On another matter, the same happens in reverse. March 19th the feast of St Joseph is a Holy Day of obligation in Italy, but not in the US or Australia(where I live) however if I was to be in Italy for the feast I would be bound to go to Mass. So it works both ways. :saint2:
