Never underestimate Cosmo (my Maine Coon). He just stole the entire pot roast off the stove. Guess it's a good thing I can't really eat much, but smells of elderberries for everyone else.

Oh, and this cat is 14 years old, and weighs only like 8lbs, if that. At least I know he's still healthy.

They're berries, of course. Think you can even make wine with them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sambucus

My kids have requested French onion soup and Brie. Unfortunately, I still can't eat. Contemplating phoning the doc to see if I can get some meds. Sigh.

Thanks. :) somehow I don't think matzo ball soup will cure this, but I appreciate the thought. :)

I was sick last week with a stomach bug, and John Paul and Roamin had it, too, but theirs was very mild. When my husband mentioned at work that I was sick, someone asked if I was pregnant, again. I told him he should've asked if that would mean he was pregnant, too. :hehe:

Well, it's one way to drop baby weight! I lost like 4 lbs because of it.
[/quote]I lost a fair amount, too. I'd just gained it back when food stopped being appealing now.
