elizabeth09
Is it worth watching? I was invited to a movie night hosted by the Orthodox Christian group playing that one. Wasn't sure if it was my kind of movie or not.
Oh yes, it is worth watching. We just got it for Christmas this past year.
PhuturePriest
Eh. My husband and I started watching it, but weren't impressed. I mean, nothing wrong with the message, but seemed a bit like preaching to the choir. Yes, I'm bragging on my husband and how well he interacts with the kids.
You know, I always hear about preaching to the choir. Just how holy is this choir? It seems to me that everyone, including members of the choir, are sinners and thus need to hear God's Word and repent, but perhaps the choir are a secret group that were born without original sin? mysisterisalittlesister
I hug people all the time. To me, anytime is a good time to hug, as I love to hug people. It's especially a good time to hug a person that has a knife and is trying to stab you, so long as you disable their arm from moving as you hug them and wait until they pass out before letting go.
just don't hug me, k? Sorry, I only really ever hug nuns
I have no problem with preaching to the choir.... lots of them need some extra-special preaching -- especially me! Almost everyone in the Choir are sinners butI am pretty sure Mary sings in our Choir. Not positive.... but pretty sure. On the other hand, John the Baptist is ONLY on the Preaching and Baptizing team.... Edited March 18, 2012 by AnneLine
Totus Tuus
I was pleasantly surprised by "Courageous," since that genre is VERY hit or miss. There were some parts where I rolled my eyes, but overall, I was 1) very entertained (good comic relief, etc.) and 2) impressed by the message.
I don't know what a ballclub is. Is that my head? Because if so, then yes, it does cause pain...
