Vincent Vega
Stuff real Catholic guys say: "Preach the Gospel at all times; if necessary, use words!" - Saint Francis of Assisi "Habit, if not resisted, soon becomes necessity." - Saint Augustine "Be ever engaged, so that whenever the devil calls he may find you occupied." - Saint Jerome "Pray, hope, and don't worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer." - Saint Padre Pio
Those aren't even a little funny. HopefulBride
Is it bad I'd totally take a date to Adoration like they were joking?
um no, not bad. My friend's husband took her to adoration on one of her dates (I think it was their first) and proposed to her in adoration. I love to laugh, and at least the Lord can be relied upon to provide a few jokes. Seriously, having a sense of humour and making a comical video doesn't stop anybody from being a 'real Catholic man'. St Lawrence was cracking jokes even while he was getting roasted to death. It's allowed.

I am naturally sarcastic, and I find almost everything at least a little bit funny. In fact, I wanted to be a stand up comedian for a while. PhuturePriest
I approve of this friend's husband.
One of my sister's friends took his girlfriend to the church and prayed with her. On the way out he knelt down to propose, and she was confused because she thought he was kneeling down to do the sign of he cross or something, and she was surprises when he took out the ring. He had a friend come through the door and take pictures the moment she saw the ring, and according to my sister she had a very shocked expression in the photos. Sorry for derailing the thread. Go on about funny things Catholic men say.

I know at the Catholic Student Association meetings sometimes, at least when we have Bible study in the parish, new people get so confused when they see the Seniors and above pausing to genuflect to the Tabernacle one last time by the door.
