4588686
I think I understand where he's coming from. He didn't do it well but his intention was to turn Santorum's own vile rhetoric back on him. It was placed under the comedy section. It would poorly executed satire of Rick Santorum's rhetoric but it was clearly not intended to be taken literally and calling this 'hate-speech' is hyperbolic. 4588686
I'm not denying that this is offensive, by the way. It certainly is for a Catholic. I'm just denying that it was anti-Catholic. The purpose was clearly not to incite hatred of Catholics. It was certainly contemptuous of Catholicism but that is different from hating Catholics. 4588686
Oh, good! It's just satire. I want to see the one he did on Muslims. Or homosexuals. Or better yet, the one on blacks. Where is his "Blacks are a bunch of n*ggers" piece?
He wasn't attempting satire against Catholicism but against Santorum, because of his similarly offensive and exaggerated against Muslims, homosexuals, and others. But please don't let reasonableness get in the way of your persecution complex.
How do you know? Prove it.
Well it was posted under humor, he explained his purpose, and his family is Catholic. So somehow I doubt he was attempting to incite hatred against his family.
