Tally Marx
I am getting a border collie puppy, and I don't know what to name her. She is black and white with tan points. I'd like something short, or something that can be shortened...unique but not fancy (my other collie is a male named "Padre," and I like that name immensely, if that helps). So, what should I name her? What puppy names do you like?

[/quote] I would use it a feminine name, since it ends with an "a". *going by current Romance language standards, there are plenty of masculine names that end with an "a".
