I thought about caffeine again but, that means I'd go through bottled water quicker, but that would mean I'd go through bottled water faster, whom Im already sharing with 3 other people, and I wouldn't want to inconvenience them, so. I have no clue what Im doing

Thanks to being forced to dwell on it thanks to Confession...McDonalds sweet tea. Ever since after I failed Quals the first time, I've drank it every day. I have all 9am courses...this is going to kill me, but it's at least a good sacrifice for me.

It would be very, very sacrificial.

I usually give up snacks between meals, and go on a walk every day. And the last two years I have tried unsuccessfully to give up complaining, so I guess I should be trying that one again. Last year giving up listening to music did not work at all, and the year before, giving up recreational reading, just made me want to read more. That was really hard... So maybe we are back to giving up ketchup again. Oh, and no more DDR at lunch time. :(

Yeah, our whole family does. It's one of the weird things we learned from Dad and his whole family!

Diet Coke. I'm addicted to the stuff. I was given a nice flask for Christmas and it's time to use it - I'll be guzzling water all day instead. This will be quite a stiff penance, as I drink anywhere up to six cans a day...my caffeine...

I will be getting up an hour earlier to pray each day and attending Mass in the evenings. On Fridays I will be hauling myself out of bed in time for early morning Mass (turbo-charged penance!).

I also want to use my online time more constructively. I will not be getting into any debates; I think they're bad for my humility. This Lent I'm praying to become a more gentle and loving person and I will try to use my time to this end, especially my computer time.
