For The Ladies, What Guys Really Want...

The exact same behavior by a woman elicits different responses from different men. I for the life of me can't figure out how one guy assumes my kindness is flirting when another guy interprets my behavior appropriately. If I try to behave with less kindness for fear of leading someone on, not only do I feel like fake, I'm accused of being mean.

Seriously. How do I get my neighbor who manages the local pizza place to stop texting me without being mean?

I'm glad I'm not interested in dating. The entire world of women is just plain scary, and I'd rather stay away from a world that has more complexity than my mind can handle. :P

Are you responding to them? If you are, stop. This sends the message that you aren't interested. If you aren't and he simply keeps texting you, I am of no help, as the only advice that's coming into my brain is to carry a gun around, but I don't believe this situation calls for such action. Ask a smarter man than I. :P

He knows I have a concealed carry license. I've tried ignoring him, but he's persistent and I hate being rude. Earlier today when he asked what I was doing I replied that I was going to visit an ex boyfriend in rehab. That didn't work. Maybe I'll go all bible thumper on him. He used to be a normal friend. I don't know what changed.

Pizza, subs, cheesy bread, probably wings, probably salads (cuz you're a chick), 2 liters and he is the manager?

I don't really see what the problem is.
I had to flat-out tell a guy it bothered me when he phoned. I felt really mean, but yeah. Of course, I'd also been oblivious to him asking me on a date, as I'd thought it was a group thing, and it wasn't.

Good for you! St. Arsenius the Great would be proud. :)

In college, I was completely oblivious to the fact that there was a guy who was hitting on me until he showed up at my work study job and tried to give me a shoulder massage, at which point I thought, "Oh, crud. I think he likes me." When I mentioned it to my friends, they were like, "DUH! HOW HAVE YOU NOT NOTICED?!?" It was even more awkward, though, because he already had a girlfriend who went to a different school...yeah, not razzle dazzle. Needless to say, nothing happened between us. Well, other than me trying to avoid seeing him at all costs. Thankfully, he graduated at the end of that year. Then there was the creepy professor...

Ugh so true... :P unless it's my hubby, then it's just his way of saying, I need to slow down and breathe.
