The Vow was based on a true story

I actually really want to see the Vow, because unlike most chick-flicks, it's based on a marriage. I hadn't seen the part in the trailer about them moving in together, but even still, it shows a concept that's sadly underrepresented in the film industry-perseverance and fidelity, that even through the hard times, marriages are something that can't just be thrown away with free re-do's.

And I'm a sucker for a good love story.
