For My Insignificant Requests

I know this is pretty insignificant to the world's affairs and what-not, but, if you could pray for me, I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to get healthier. It was part of my New Year's Resolution to lose weight and stop eating so much junk. I haven't made good on that promise and have been pouring soda into my system virtually non-stop. Now, I'm paying the consequences. I'm trying to wean myself off of it. Yesterday, I was watching Dr. Oz and was disgusted by what the topic was and wanted to change. I've been watching his show everyday and he is constantly talking about weight loss and how to do it. I need to abide by his guidelines.

On a different note, I really need prayers about my job search. I'm feeling burnt out because I've only had one interview that didn't materialize into a job because I didn't meet all the requirements. My mom has been on my case ever since. It's been 2 weeks since the interview and she still wants me to send in references even if I haven't cleared them with the people. Personally, I think that's inappropriate and feel very uncomfortable about it. I don't need people badmouthing me when I have no idea what they are saying. I really need God's help to find a different opportunity. I think working in a doctor's office or hospital office is the best idea because I love medical terminology and I'm really good with patients.

Last but not least, please pray for me to find a way to start back in school in the fall. Because I'm over 150% of the required classes, I'm not eligible for a lot of scholarships at the school I am currently registered at. I'm probably going to have to transfer somewhere after I finally get my AA degree (once the residency status is updated, which has been a major pain in the neck). I'm trying to figure out if I can go to a university for the last 3 general prerequisites and THEN get in the nursing program.
