I didn't say I agreed with everything he has done. He is pro-life and is a good catholic. We should be aware of what the candidates believe but avoid scrupulously judging them like we are God. Abortion is BAD. I don't agree with what he did (in this link) but he is very pro-life right now and that is all that matters ( he also won't let Iran get nukes.) Compared to Obama he looks like a saint! lol! Edited February 20, 2012 by Annie12
Winchester
I'm not judging him. I'm showing that he actually isn't pro life in his politics and that his economics are based on state worshipping mythology. "He's really prolife now". He is still defending his decisions to provide funding for Planned Parenthood. Unless you plan on going to war with Russia or China, nobody can really prevent Iran from having access to nuclear weapons. Sorry, but the reality is that two major nuclear powers have the friendships with Iran.

elizabeth09
I like on how he is hiding the fact that his is a Roman Catholic, but still saying that he has faith that Obama will ever had in his life.

I just think, in my opinion that santorum really means it when he says he is pro-life. He has shown his commitment to the pro-life cause in his family life. He has said himself that their family is against contraceptives and he has a special needs daughter which is proof in and of itself. If you look at all the candidates he seems the most pro-life in my opinion.

I've looked at all the candidates. He supports funding the purchase of contraceptives with government money. He supports stealing our money with inflation. He supports pre-emptive wars. He supports funding government run education and expanding the role of the Federal government in education. He has zero support for subsidiarity in his history. Again: Personal decisions to not kill his kid don't seem to translate into his belief about the role of government. You think there are no pro-choice people out there with mentally retarded children? Annie12
But Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul all at one time supported abortion or made acceptations for abortions and have a sketchy history as well. Don't get me wrong here I HATE abortion with a passion! I just trust santorum more than the others who have actually come out openly in the past supporting abortion in one way or another. Santorum has never said he was for abortion and has always said he has been pro-life. I will look into his views further but from what I know about him he seems like an honest guy who doesn't lie about being pro-life. Where did you get your facts from btw? I have never heard this before in my life.

He considers this window of doubt about pregnancy acceptable. We obviously don't. The chances of this occurring are rare. Santorum believes in providing Federal money to provide contraception. That's going to result in many more abortions (not to mention theft to permit individual comfort). And I've provided links above about Santorum. More than once.hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha http://dailycaller.com/2012/01/03/the-trouble-with-my-uncle-rick-santorum/ Edited February 21, 2012 by Winchester
BG45
Santorum aide "mis-speaks" about Obama's "Radical Islamic Policies". Having listened to Rick, not just staffers like that one, more than convinced me not to vote for him. Also people in PA, those I've talked to at least, only seem to remember him for how corrupt he was (including a "charity" that allegedly failed to follow the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania). On a more personal note, I believe we have a right to privacy, Santorum has repeatedly shown that he doesn't believe this. Even though he frames it in terms of abortion and gay marriage, it's not a big leap to say he would apply it to everyone, and continue the expansion of big government.
