FutureCarmeliteClaire
What is Josephite marriage specifically, and is that okay to do? I don't know, I had never heard of it before, and I am wondering what the Church says about it...
Theoketos
A Josephite Marriage is a valid marriage in which both parties consent to remain celibate. It is permissible by the Church with the unhindered consent of both parties. The best example of a Josephite marriage is of course the Holy Family. However, it should certainly not be the norm. And there is such a thing as marriage rights.
