Great Praise And Worship Music Cd's?

I'm thrilled. I'm finally starting to find Christian/Catholic music that speaks to my soul. I already know many good Catholic songs and Marian songs, but was looking for more and I'm very particular about the style. I picked up a collection of Christian songs at the store and came across this...

It's so moving and the video is very meditative! What a beautiful melody. :)

... 1. Come, thou Fount of every blessing,
tune my heart to sing thy grace;
streams of mercy, never ceasing,
call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it,
mount of thy redeeming love.

2. Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I'm come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood.

3. O to grace how great a debtor
daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness, like a fetter,
bind my wandering heart to thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
prone to leave the God I love;
here's my heart, O take and seal it,
seal it for thy courts above.

Oh, I thought you meant Matt Maher or Audrey Assad or whatever kind of stuff. I didn't know you just wanted good music done poorly.

I mean, there's only so much you can do with a Wesleyan hymn, but they pretty much did it in that video.
Be prepared for a wildly trashy ending though.

I love this song!!

It has special meaning.. The first time I heard it was at the first order I visited. It ended up being used three times in my time there, once even played acoustic just for me because I asked to hear it. :). It reminds me that God is guiding me all along to some path. Like many discerners have said, even after finding they didn't have a religious vocation, they believed that... God wanted them to visit orders and discern the life because they grew in their faith, and in knowing themselves better. I can attest to all of that. It has kept me devoted to the faith and has led to much growth on all levels. I've also made some of the most amesome friends in my journey. :)

[quote]
Lyrics 1. Blessed are the poor in spirit, longing for their Lord, for God's coming kingdom shall be theirs.

Blessed are the sorrowing, for they shall be consoled, and the meek shall come to rule the world.

Refrain Lead me, Lord, lead me, Lord, by the light of truth to seek and to find the narrow way. Be my way; be my truth; be my life, my Lord, and lead me, Lord, today.

2. Blessed are the merciful, for mercy shall be theirs, and the pure in heart shall see their God.

Blest are they whose hunger only holiness can fill, for I say they shall be satisfied.

3. Blest are they who through their lifetimes sow the seeds of peace; all will call them children of the Lord.

Blest are you, though persecuted in your holy life, for in heaven, great is your reward.

Have you ever heard this song? Do you like it?

Actually, I didn't pay much attention to the artist. I was just looking for someone that did the song. I do like that it is gentle and not all rockish or poppy, in my ears.

When I stopped going to church in my evangelical/charismatic days, I often spun John Michael Talbot's "The Lord's Supper", that WAS my church service. A classic in the CCM realm, and unabashedly Catholic in a field dominated by anti-Catholics.

I downloaded from iTunes "What Wondrous Love" by Marian Grace, and it has been a constant play since. I love that whole recording.
