Sarah147
I just listened to Audrey and it's not quite what I'm looking for. I guess I want older collections of hymns and Christian artists of old. I also like bright, inspiring music like Jimmy Cliff "I Can See Clearly Now", and such. I don't know where to get what I want. MissyP89
Well, you listed plenty of things that you like, so... Go to Pandora.com and pick your favorite artist or song. It'll play you other songs after that and you can either give it a thumbs up if it's your style or a thumbs down if you don't want to hear it again. Do this often enough and you'll get a customized station that's just the way you like. And they have a free iPod app.

I've been hooked on it ever since. I also love "Hakuna Matata"!
Well, you listed plenty of things that you like, so... Sarah147
I loved Mariah Carey's first album "Vision of Love" and might have to listen again. It's kind of gospel-like and I love the soul, blues, r&b music. Select songs though. Steve Winwood has a nice inspiring, tropical sound to his music. I'm digging through songs on YouTube and trying to see where my tastes are these days, as they seemed to have changed some. A lot of songs I used to like are of no interest now. Amppax
Future of Forestry, some stuff off of Sufjan Steven's Christmas album (Come Thou Fount; Holy, Holy, Holy; etc) Gungor, Josh Garrels, Luke Spehar, Jon Foreman (Switchfoot's lead singer)'s solo stuff. And without question, the new David Crowder Band album (a requiem mass!). I think though that Sufjan might be your best stuff, if you are looking for more of a traditional hymn sound. Sarah147
I would love to use this song for wedding entrance or RL vows. It has special meaning to me. I first heard it on the first vocation retreat I went on, and it really touched me. They sang it in Church, the Sisters stumbled upon it and sang it at vespers and I even got the guitarist at Church to play it for me.
