his_remnant
depends on whatcha mean by Praise and Worship... Matt Maher - catholic praise and worship all the way. Jars of Clay, Tenth Avenue North, and Third Day are some personal favs of mine but i don't know if you'd call them P&R Danielle Rose (She's Catholic), Tricia Brock, and Nichole Nordeman are my girl music...also not so P&R as Christian pop/rock. you kinda got to know what you like to listen to cause not all Christian music is Praisy and Worshipy...like Michael W. Smith (who i don't recommend cause i don't like him...blech )

OnlySunshine
Anything by Chris Tomlin or MercyMe. They are my go-to's for Christian music. I also just started listening to Kari Jobe. One of her new singles is amazing!
Sarah147
I think I'm looking for music that isn't too secular sounding or too popish or rockish. Maybe like John Denver "you fill up my senses" and "amazing grace" in general. I'm finding classical a little too headachy unless it's Canon, and headachy with some super traditional Church music, too. I like some hymns like "lead me Lord", "summons", "amazing grace", "on eagles wings", etc. Things like that would be great, plus some artists that are gentle and folky like Denver but really good. Please. Recommendations.
MissyP89
I think I'm looking for music that isn't too secular sounding or too popish or rockish...
Frankly, most Christian music out there today sounds "secular." Stuff with guitars and drums and bass? That's not secular...that's just music. Give Audrey Assad a try. I listen to a lot of Christian music, but when I'm truly looking to worship, she's my go-to. As is Gungor.
