Papist
Enya is just bland and trite. Look up Pete Namlook, Steve Roach and Vidna Obmana.

Guest hermanita
Celtic Women's cover of Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Amazing Grace, and Ave Maria are often labeled New Age. Hope it attracts many "New Agers."

BG45
One of the songs on my Relaxation playlist is labeled New Age and it's just a Jewish folk group. Like others have said, sometimes it's just a catch all label.

arfink
If you want some relaxing music that I can wholly reccomend as being amesome, please be sure and check out the following: Keep in mind that my choices of relaxing music are what some people would call "instrumental" since they have no lyrics. I also prefer ambient electronic soundscapes and retro-lounge style dubs. Most of these are also free and distributable via crative commons licensing, which is amesome. http://shop.audiobaum.com/album/leftover-love-extended-edition http://workbench-music.com/release/synesthesia/ http://workbench-music.com/release/infinite-lives/ http://www.archive.org/details/mia049 And I could suggest about a gazillion more too, but those are some recent highlights of my music search. Lots of artists make this stuff for fun and release it for free, and it's generally superior to what you can buy anyways, IMO. Look for creative commons netlabels specialising in what you want to hear.
