Fiat_Voluntas_Tua
There is a difference between being prideful and being an example...if your intentions for praying the rosary are right (not to 'show off') and have a humble attitude, then it is ok. It is OK to set an example for those who need an example. Pax et Agape per Maria, Andy JMJ
theculturewarrior
I can relate, Lil Red. It is a fine line between being light to the world, and giving in to the leaven of the pharisees. That is why it is good to pray often for humility (no matter how much it hurts us when He answers).

Pax et Agape per Maria, Andy JMJ
that's the thing, i don't know if i would be doing it for the right reasons, that is why i don't. because i can't be sure if i'm doing it for the attention or not. Carrie
I saw the coolest thing yesterday morning in the Subway. I walk onto the Subway platform, and I see 2 nuns wearing the type of habit that Mother Teresa wore, with the blue and white, and they were praying these really long Rosaries silently while waiting for the train. I thought that was sooooo cool. They were bringing some attention to themselves, and I heard some lady say "Look, those are the types of nuns that Mother Teresa was." I thought it was so beautiful to see these 2 holy women praying the Rosary in the middle of the Subway station, with all the hustle and bustle of the big city. It made me feel good, and so proud to be a Catholic. God Bless <>< Cesar
I've seen them on the subway alot lately too. Always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when I see them. lil bull 04
i just got a book on the rosary the other day at the bookstore. It shows how to make them and it shows how to pray it. It is for little children but I think its great for us that are older that are just starting to learn. If anyone wants to know what its called I can post the title tomorrow

Lil Red
Praying the rosary can save the world. Sometimes when me and my friends start to complain about what's in the news, I think, "what right do I have to complain? I haven't been praying the Rosary!"
you know, ever since i saw this, i have been using this example to promote saying the rosary among my students and my family and friends. Thank you so much for a great, *bam*, smack-you-upside-the-head thought! God bless!
