Ed Normile
Winchy, I am sure you can find incidents where Obama voted pro-life as it had an ammendment added in with lists of other ammendments added into bills they were voting on at the last minute to get the support of other candidates to pass the key bill, well maybe not Obama as he mostly voted "present" during his short term in the senate. The point is many of these issues are thrown in at the last minute to garner support and are unknown by those who vote for the key issues of the bill they are supporting. Why don't you find some key pro-death issue that Santorum backed and voted for, maybe because it does not exist. ed

Or there was something shiny taped to one of the pages he sort of thumbed through. Maybe it advocated inflation, which he also supports. Sorry, I'm not into big government types like Santorum. I also don't want to wage economic warfare. Like Santorum.
Winchester
"Santorum then continued to defend his vote by claiming that the funding was used for birth control." He's a [s]dumbass[/s] believer in compartmentalization of funds. "“The program that he’s talking about is a program called Title X, and it’s a program that is in appropriation bills that funds — allows for funding of, uh, uh, uh — of birth control,†Santorum claimed when he eventually addressed the original question, carefully avoiding any mention of Planned Parenthood’s far more lucrative abortion business or its pro-abortion lobbying. “I am not for federal funding of that, but it’s in a big bill that provides a lot of things. Did I vote for that overall bill? Yes, I did.†He then resumed his attacks on Paul for not supporting enough federal spending."
