Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus | Response & Discussion

What really bugs me is that when you search for "Why I hate Religion" the video doesn't come up at the top anymore, for no reason. The numbers are still climbing, nothing has been changed in the tags or the title. Sounds like a C O N spiracy..... ha.

So the video received 32,000 views yesterday. The Muslim version received 39,000 yesterday. We have so many Catholics in this country, I just don't get it.

Maybe because a lot of Christians (Catholics included) are curious about the Muslim response. Also there are a lot of Catholic responses that are probably splitting the number of views.

That's because many Catholic and Protestant churches are dead spiritually. It is time for all Christians to reunite and become
spiritually alive again! My pastor always says the first step is to attend church (find one that is you enjoy attending regardless if it is Catholic or Protestant), the next step is to read the Bible daily and third is daily prayers. Wake up folks! You are losing your youth
to the secular world where Christianity is mocked!

Mainly picking on the bit that I highlighted, but I think this is a very dangerous notion. Religion is about centering your life on God, not on your own personal enjoyment.

Yus. I watched it yesterday out of curiosity. I found the sound editing to be pretty grating when it was trying to be dramatic.

Things I don't get, when a Muslim tries to use the Bible to prove Christ isn't divine. Like when he criticized Christians for being up in the church drinking wine, when in fact there are many places in the Gospels where Jesus drinks wine or at least provides wine to people. Idgi. This type of apologetics seem very problematic.

Disbelief in the divinity of Christ leaves one in the precarious position of being on the road to destruction.
Alcohol is not evil. It is how it is used by people of free choice.

You ommitted that it is also necessary to practice what you read and pray for. 'Just knowing the path is not enough Neo, you must also walk it.' Faith equals salvation, salvation equals good works. You seem as though you are only half way there.
By the bold part you are admitting defeat. Jesus is alive and thriving!

Contentment in the truth is knowing you don't have to keep looking for things to attempt to prove you're correct.
(People who are insecure keep searching for proof that they are correct whereas when you have the truth you know it and don't feel the need to prove it.)

Yes Jesus is alive and thriving! My question to you is this. Is Jesus alive and thriving in every member in your church congregation or are some members only going through motions but spiritually dead inside?

Is Jesus alive and thriving in every member of your Church congregation or even most of them? If yes, let me know your secret and I will apply it to mine.

Ask that same question to the 12 Apostles. Now, what is the answer?
