My husband cheats, and there's going to be a killing alright. I've told him I won't kill him, but will the woman who went after a married man. Him, I will make suffer watching me go off to jail because of his infidelity.

I'm not worried though, he worships the ground I walk on.

I told my husband before we ever got married if I found out he cheated on me his arse would be on the curb and I'd take him for everything he's worth.

Good thing my husband worships the ground I walk on, too. :hehe:

Random thoughts:
- Being selfish isn't nearly as satisfying as some make it out to be.

but isn't that one of the hardest lessons to learn. I'm in my 20's and it's hard to face, well, that I can't and shouldn't live only for myself in any aspect of my life.

Boys need to cheat. Boys judge their happiness solely on physical pleasure and not intimacy. Boys don't have the emotional strength or testicular fortitude to keep on loving when it's no longer hormones, but a daily decision to hold someone up over yourself and your needs. Our bodies aren't toddlers -- they can and should be disciplined.

And if marriage leads to anger and contempt, then marriage is not the issue. It's the people involved. That's not to say good people don't struggle in marriage ... but getting rid of commitment and monogamy is not and never will be the answer.

Stuff like this depresses me. The world needs men that are really, truly men.
Women are just as bad as men when it comes to cheating. I think they're better at it and more sneaky.

Isn't adultery against the law for military guys? Just send him to Leavenworth.

Yeah, it's a punishable offense. It probably depends on who's in charge, though, because I can't think of anyone who has been given the max penalty. I know of one person who barely got in trouble, and for the multitude of offenses she should have gotten worse.

"Maximum punishment.
Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 1 year"

The prevalence of divorce is making people say all sorts of ridiculous things about marriage. I don't think our culture even remembers what marriage is sometimes.

No. Apparently it is only men who are the animals.

However, women are catching up. Has anyone seen this idiotic bumper sticker?

I was reading something from that Aubrey de Grey dude the other day in which he was predicting that monogamy would soon be dead - and good riddance.
"It is simply that there is nothing about sex that morally distinguishes it from other activities that are performed by two (or more) people collectively."

I facepalmed multiple times. I'm almost tempted to say to these folks, "fine have it your way and we'll see whether or not we end up with a utopia or a society in the [mod]bad word[/mod]."

That's not a very good attitude maybe but I'm at the point where I think it's going to have to get worse before things get better.

"Monogamy is killing marriage."

Next thing you know water will be killing alcoholics. And broccoli will be killing fat people. And money will kill the economy. Oh wait...

I had to reread this like 5 times before I understood what you meant. I thought you were saying that your husband was cheating on you and that you're going to jail for killing the other woman...

I'm glad that's not what you meant!! :)
