It's been a while since we've had a Star Wars thread to my knowledge. So here it goes. I always thought Qui Gon Jinn (Played by Liam Neeson in Episode 1 only) was among the greatest jedi for a number of reasons. Everything he says comes to frutition: About Anakin being the one, all the attempts to assassanate Padme's , and more. He's the first to Immortality which is no small thing. And I think getting killed by Darth Maul is an honor. By far one of the coolest movie villains ever. Maul played dirty to beat him to, of course, so that's just more kudos for Qui Gon. Now what really bothers me, is my sister says Qui Gon Jinn seems qwerty to her. Like gay. Homosexual. Please tell me there is something wrong with my sister or she's exagerating or something. I've seen the movie more times than she and Qui Gon Jinn in no way seems gay to me. I always thought that that was one of the more bizarre things my sister came out with but I know she's serious and I know that there had to be something in that movie that made her think that. I just want to hear peoples honest opinions.

Who's he, the next leader of North Korea?
No he's a jedi in Star Wars episode I the phantom menace. The mentor of Obi Wan. Qui Gon is a fictiticious character depicted by Liam Neeson as I have mentioned. North Korea has nothing to do with a long time ago in a galaxy far far away and thank heavens for that.

He is not qwerty at all. Yes he is soft spoken but there was always power in his voice.

The only other Jedis that Would top him would be mace windoo ( only because Samuel L. Jackson is BA)
And of course Yoda ( enough said).

I never like the fact that Anakin has no father as if he was immaculately conceived.

Before I believe. That's right a bunch of bad thaings happened to Liam Neeson. His wife died in a skiing accident, that happened, and he was also stupid enough to leave the Catholic Church.

That makes more sense b/c she looked rather embarrassed when talking to Qui Gon Jinn about it.

I always pictured God's voice as Liam Neesons. He's had a lot of roles as a mentor (Batman Begins, Star Wars, Narnia). When you think about it though he's despicable because of his deep catholic upbringing and the fact he has completely turned away from it. Thats why the suffering comes, Albanian gang stuff and Wifes death, to remind him to turn to Christ. Oreo I'm glad we agree that Qui Gon is not gay. Qui Gon is better than all the Skywalkers and Ki-Adi-Mundi as a jedi, but Ben, Mace and, Yoda are all better still in my opinion. I think Ben does come to out do Qui Gon eventually. I still think Qui Gon is one of the best though. www.seabreezecomupers.com/starwars/ I ended up Qui Gon. That became my Skype SN too. He's amesome He just needed more sceentime to be better than the others.

He doesn't seem homosexual to me.

Anyhow, I consider him to be the archetype of all I wanted a Jedi to be. Someone of principle who wasn't willing to back down and used violence only as a last resort. He was wise, everything he said came to pass, and he knew when to play by the rules and when to tell the Jedi Council to shove it.

He's not my favorite but he is one of the best. I am partial to Obi Wan Kenobi/Ben and Yoda, of course. Luke...well...i don't know what i think of him.

The worst is Mace Windoo - i found him random and unneeded with too much star power but then i don't like Samuel L. Jackson as an actor. Can someone explain to me why they find him amazing??
