The following is part of a PM I just sent someone about how much I love Adrienne. Writing it inspired me to post it here, I want to hear some stories from other people about LOVE. How mushy, huh? Share how much you love your kids, spouses, families, boyfriend/girlfriend, dog, whatever! :D

[quote]Adrienne is 9 months old. :D I  her. I forget if you've said if you have any kiddos or not... if you do then you understand what I'm about to say, and if not then the prospect of future kids is probably enough for you to imagine how I feel! :) Adrienne is pretty much THE most important person in my life (aside from my husband), I love her so much and cannot imagine life without her. Right now its hard for me to imagine having another child and loving that child as much as I love her---I mean, I know I WILL, but its that feeling of, "Is love like this really possible? WOW!" :D  That love in "ammount" is equal to how much I love Matthew, but its a different kind of love. I love my siblings and parents and in-laws in equal-but-different-loves, too, but the love you feel for your own child.... its beautiful and indescribable... I'm just blathering!

I love lots of people in equal but different ways, but have no kids (although I want them someday). I really don't have anyone that I can blather on about without seeming like a total goofball (I think motherhood exempts you from that, Princess Bling Bling :D). But yeah, I love some people.

Isn't it great Katie? When you think about it God IS LOVE. And he makes it possible for the impossible, to love and love and love so much than we thought possible. The Littleflower, St. Therese, said something about how much she loves Our Lord so much, it's a miracle she has room to love so many other ppl in her life. Our Lord made it possible to love others almost as intensely as she loved others.....i'll find it somewhere.

a Beatles song comes to mind:
"All you need is Love.....da dadaddada"

I know just how you feel! That's what I feel for my husband and son. It's hard to imagine the love and security I feel from my husband, and the sweetness and tenderness I feel from my baby boy. I am lucky to have them in my life. Yes, I also have brothers and mom and dad, and I love them with my whole heart, too. But now I am thinking of my husband and son as "my family." Isn't it strange how that happens?

God bless. :)

You know, as I was reading about your love for your baby... I knew what you were going to say next... I KNEW you were going to marvel at how you could possibly love another child as much as your firstborn. I wondered that too. It's an incredible thing. I have three kids and when each of them was born, I had the same intense feeling of love. Love multiplies... It's not divisible... ;) God's is good.

My husband used to say he loved me more than a bunch of bananas (I always thought that was cute

 I knew that someone would understand! I was just snuggling her and setting her down to sleep and thinking about all this again.... Children are SUCH miracles. We are SO blessed to have them in our lives.

The feeling that washes over me as she looks up at me when she's playing, or when she grabs at my face and tries to eat my chin... Its just so amazing... I look at her and wonder how she can possibly be mine. lol She's too perfect.

And now for my tribute to my spouse... and if he doesn't read it, it's his own fault for not phatmassing more...

I love my husband because we have truly been on a roller coaster ride together in this marriage (not in a me against him kind of thing... more like he and I against the "elements")... we have three kids and a Russian kid (who's not a teenager anymore, but was when we "got" her five years ago...) all of whom have brought there own challenges to our lives. We love them all. HS_Dad is my absolute best friend... He works super hard so that I can stay home and be a homeschoolmom. He's tired-- a lot... but he still plugs away. Becoming Catholic without him just wouldn't have been as cool.... Okay... that is all...

HSmom, thats awesome. Thats how I feel about Matthew. He's my absolute bestest friend, without him I'd have been stuck in so many binds... He makes my life complete. He's there when I need a shoulder to cry on.... or a shoulder to blame ;)..... He works hard to support us and take care of us.... I don't deserve someone so wonderful, but now that I've got him there's no way I'm letting him go! :D

And now you know that you can love them all just as much. ^_^ Isn't it fun to look back?
