Lil Red
What could phatmass do to aid phatmassers in their home parishes & dioceses during the upcoming Year of Faith? The Vatican has just released the guidelines, which got me to thinking about what we, as a group, could come up with to help phatmassers in their 'in real life' lives do as the document asks: the Year of Faith is “intended to contribute to a renewed conversion to the Lord Jesus and to the rediscovery of faith, so that the members of the Church will be credible and joy-filled witnesses to the risen Lord, capable of leading those many people who are seeking it to the door of faith.” ideas? TheresaThoma
In some ways keep doing what we are doing. Though I am sure there might be something we could do to "highlight" particular topics of interest (an article, resource, other webpage etc) I think this needs a little more time to rattle around inside my head before I really come up with something. Lil Red
and i should add that i'm thinking something more concrete that phatmassers could do in their homes/parishes/dioceses....like printing out a pamphlet - ideas for starting a group - etc.

dUSt
We could finish the Phatmass Phlipbooks, and then print them out and make them available in our parishes.

BG45
A Philipbook is my new book, out this month. It's the story of slowly losing your sanity in graduate programs and includes testimonial from every Phatmasser who went on beyond the BA/BS and how none of us ever had a real mind again. brianthephysicist
Oh so I guess you need my testimony then. I'll give it to you during the meetup.
MissyP89
As long as we're talking about books ... whatever happened to the book we did write? Does anybody remember that from the 2008-9 era? There were essays and poems and all kinds of good stuff. I copy edited that thing, so I know it still exists...
