Maccabeus
A bit of a silly question, I've wondered about this for a while now. The american shoe company "Nike" name comes from a greek Goddess who represented and stood for Victory. Is it sinful to wear something with a name of a pagan God? CatherineM
I sure hope not since they are the only kind of sneakers that fit my weird feet. My first car was a Mercury. We went to the moon in Apollo. A name is just a name. We don't worship our shoes, although I know some people do. My Druid ancestors worshiped trees, but that doesn't mean I can't plant one. The Egyptians worshiped cats, and while I may consider cats to be evil incarnate, it's okay to own one. Just keep them away from me.
