Did my budget sums and bought it on Amazon. Should arrive in a few weeks or so. My next buy will be The Jesuit Guide to (almost) Everything. My director is a Jesuit fan. For some totally unknown reason I am shy of them. These books may be my cure!

Blessed&Grateful

Humor has gotten me through many a rough time or two. I have always envisioned Jesus as having a "wicked" sense of humor. After all He traveled with a group of guys who were not always easy to be around. I sense He enjoyed a good joke or two or three as much as anyone.

My favorite mental image is one of great laughter and mirth!

Love Fr. James Martin. I downloaded a chapter of this book on kindle, loved it and then didn't buy the book because I want the actual book! The Jesuit Guide to (almost) Everything is also an exceptionally good book.

I really like the Jesuit guide...possibly because I understand my non-JEsuit priest friend way better because of it (his formation was heavily influenced by them). My mom and I had asked for this on PaperBackSwap for the past 6 months or so, but are going to buy it soon!

I can easily picture Our Lord and His disciples playing pranks on each other. I lived in a suite with eight and later nine other girls my first two years of college from a variety of different places and backgrounds and there were certainly pranks to be had.
