HomeTeamFamily
My biggest resolution is to be awake and ready for the day by the time my girls wake up, hoping to reinforce a stronger Daddy image for them.

emi77
Resolution: (I only gave myself one this year in the hope that i'l stick to it) 1) To make time for prayer (either silent, or rosary- though preferably both) EVERY day, no exceptions. Succeeded in this yesterday- still to do today :S Goal: 1) To study hard for the second year of my Theology degree, and finish this year with a 2.1. or 1.1 2) To really commit to my reversion back to Catholicism (I've been 'trialling it' for 3 years!) and start the RCIA programme which will lead to my seriously delayed Confirmation!! 3) To talk to Father about finding a Spiritual Director. Hopes: 1) Only one, but a biggie-I hope that my Mum starts to make a good recovery from her mental illness, so that our family can be reunited. MissyP89
My only resolution is a private one. This past year I kicked a really bad habit and for 2012 I plan, by grace, to keep it that way. Goals and hopes and stuff: ~ I want to get to the point where I can comfortably and safely drive alone, even if it's just to work and back. ~ A car! ~ I want to try to make time for more reading. ~ Learning to cook some more. ~ I would love to visit Long Island again. But mostly, I just want to be a better person. More of Him, less of me.

homeschoolmom
Exercise more... (and since I don't do any, "more" is just about anything).... drink less Dr. Pepper (and substitute tea w/honey in my fantastic Phatmass mug instead), read more, get a haircut (yes, I have really set the bar high on that one...) ContemporaryCaflicCrusader
Try to be more confident. Definitely. And I would like to be able to consider myself a real athlete again. Not to let other people bother me but not to be completely stowic like Spock from Star Trek either. My mom tells me I'm mentally unstable lol. I guess I can't be the only mentally unstable person whose trying with all there mind, soul, and body to reach the VIP room of heaven using the 7 wonderful sacraments Jesus gave His Church of which the gates of hell would not prevail against. So ya just to be more confident and to get out of the habit of using that s.wear, even though I say it quietly under my breath so no one ever hears me. :-( I live a hard life as a dishwasher/salad man/janitor/bouncer at the local haunted bar on weekend nights. That would be my other goal is to become a NETer! NETusa.org . Pleeeeeeeeeeeease pray for me.
4 years ago I went to a NET interview retreat, which is the last thing they do before they decide you have it in you to be a NETer or not, and they said that they never wanted me back. but... In November (Just a few months ago) I went to a regular retreat as an adult chaperone and despite the original confusion that I was in fact not a high schooler lol, they had people vouch for me that I would make a terrific NETer and that they should give me another try. i'm still working on essays in the paperwork but I think it's all promising! I have to stop worrying about it and just trust Him!!! Prayers are always appreciated tho lol.
