dUSt,

Two things....

The board seems slow again - happened occasionally last night, but today I'm getting the 'green hearbeat of death' when I try to move from list of threads to the individual posts. Taking as much as 3-5 minutes to move to a different area of the phorum or to next page in threads.

Reminds me of working at Ignatius Press MANY years ago (when the boot disks had 'pause to pray' flash on the screen while stuff was loading)....
Perhaps we should 'pause to pray' whenever the Phorum slows? :amen:

Also a few moments ago while all the other pages show a bunch of people signed in, on one of these only myself and BryanthePhysicist were signed in - do we have bilocation problems again?
Oh - I see --NOT biolocation--it's a new pheature! :getaclue: Now it shows how many people are reading this topic! Got it...... AnneLine is slow as the Phorum somtimes.... :paperbag:

I will comment that around 12:30 PM CST it was seeming to run slow again. I had to step away and couldn't comment at the time but, just letting you know a little late.

Nihil Obstat

Oh, here's a little nit-picky thing. Some of the little minor defaults have changed. Before, when I pressed tab for the first time on a screen, my cursor would go straight to the search bar in the top right. Now I believe it goes to the reply box, and actually can't access the search bar. The reason I notice this is because sometimes the tab is a handy back-to-top shortcut.
This is the case inside threads, but it still works the same when viewing an entire board.

OK, I just changed a setting. Instead of loading JavaScript from Google's servers, all JavaScript is now hosted here on phatmass. I hope it helps speed things up.

Idk if this is a problem with the site or my computer, but since phatmass came back, every time I give something a prop it gives me a message along the lines of not being able to properly store my reputation vote. When I reload the page, it acknowledges the prop.

I guess it's not really a problem because my props still work, just figured I'd mention it.

Brian... judging from dUSt's last post, you're bilocating again. :)

dUSt - still seems to be a tad slow. I will start timing the 'prayer sessions' and give feedback. Won't be on-line fo next few hours, however....
I can't quote anyone without opening the page in a new tab. Is that how it is supposed to be?
My browser does not do that...
