MrsFrozen
I'll be praying for you, Lil! And you know, I think it's pretty pathetic when I good Catholic can't find a mass to go to where they actually submit to authority and say it by the books!
IcePrincessKRS
haha, i wish. any youth ministry jobs open?
I'm not sure.... there's got to be something... there's at least 10 parishes around here that I can think of off the top of my head, all within 15 minutes or so of my house... The cost of living is cheap, too....

Lil Red
yeah, you are better than one mountain, but how about many mountains? heehee i dunno, plus I don't know what my hubby will say. he's been wanting to move back to Oregon (where he grew up) but I really don't wanna move to Oregon. I wouldn't mind moving to Spokane cuz that's where my sister lives.
Krush2k2
Whats with all these liberal priests and Democrat Catholics? The church needs to stand up and start ex communicating these people who so publically opose her teachings(Ted Kennedy, Kerry, etc...)
IcePrincessKRS
We have a great Catholic community here (many mountains ). Of course, I understand that you and your husband have to talk everything over and do whats best for you both and your future/family.

Donna
Redhead, you already know you must prepare yourself re: future/husband/parish. The heartache so many of us go through... Don't give up on praying. But, this is quite a cross. Because you are the Catholic, not your possible-to-be-husband; and the rcia deal, too. These back-of-your-head worries on top of the present sorrow of your diocese. People have actually moved - even to bum hick-ville towns - to have a solid parish. Do you ask God to become willing to do whatever you must to keep the Faith? PedroX
Lil Red, My prayers continue for you and your husband. I can definitely understand the frustration. I drive 30 minutes to have solid spiritual direction, at 7:00 in the morning (I am not a morning person), but the results have been so wonderful. Make the sacrifice, and offer it up. St. Therese, Little Flower, refused to take penances in her life because she said we didn't recognize and offer up the daily trials we go through. My this trial unite you even more with Our Lord's Passion. peace...
littleflower+JMJ
O My Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church; Grant love and the light of your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests, so that hardened hearts might be bought to repentance and return to You. Lord, give us holy priests; You Yourself maintain them in holiness. O divine and great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil's traps and snares, which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things. I ask You, Jesus, for a special blessing and for light for the priests before whom i will make my confessions throughout my lifetime. Amen. this prayer is from the Diary of Sr. Mary Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) of the Divine Mercy Devotion.
