Frail Grandfather

Please, please, please pray for my paternal grandfather. We went to celebrate Christmas with my grandparents, aunt and uncle, and, at the end, I went to go hug my grandfather bye and just felt all his bones on his shoulders and back. It was awful. He has been so sick lately with a very severe intestinal infection which makes it difficult for him to eat anything. With the kind of infection he has, it may take up to a year for it to resolve depending on the severity. He was walking very slowly with a cane and was struggling to take steps, so I know he is lacking energy. He barely talked the whole night and was not himself. I am very upset with all that has happened to him this past year. I don't think we will have him around much longer. The doctor already said that another illness could be life threatening because he has no fat reserves.
