Byzantine
Suppose someone made a vow with two parts. Say for example that they vowed to do x and y. Later they realized that y could be rather unpleasant, but that x was perfectly agreeable. Is it possible for this person to vow something in place of y, or is one bound to do y anyway? Basically, is there a way to not have to fulfill y?
