cmaD2006
I don't care one way or another who uses their phone in mass. But if your phone rings during mass the looks you'll get will be like a dumpster full of anvils falling on your head.
a) That's what airplane mode is for (as long as you have everything on the phone) b) that's why you can SILENCE the phone ringer. Heh. Adrestia
So, does anyone have a list of handy Catholic iPhone apps?
cmaD2006
One good thing about a electronic device: as long as a kid doesn't step on it or drop it it's good. Paper is tempting. Can get crinkled easily. Easy to ruin the beautiful hymnal. Seen it more than once.
Norseman82
A while back, I was looking for a "consecration bells" ringtone and was tempted to play it at consecration time. Fortunately, we got a new pastor who now rings the bells at consecration. Edited December 22, 2011 by Norseman82

JessicaKoch
I was excited when I found an app with the Mass on, I thought I was so smart being prepard for the new changes only to find out the app didnt have the changes, then I find out I had to switch the version. LOL I told my father and showed it to my pastor, the people behind me were told and I think everyone knows now. I respect the Gospel and put it in my pocket.(Even with the book I would put the book away and keep my eye on the reader.) I always make sure the phone is silanced, most of my friends know not to call or text during Holy Mass times. in terms of the apps I have: Letio Divina Catholic One iMissal (I paid for this app and this is the app I use for the Mass) LivingBread (Free radio app) RosaryPlay Caholic Chaplets Let's recite the Holy Rosary and a couple of 'living" wallpapers One guy that was sitting next to a couple of weeks ago asked what app I was using during Mass, when I told him he wanted to know how to get it. Once I am used to the changes it will get used less and less like the book. I thank everyone for their input it means alot to me.
