BLT on toast with Miracle Whip (not real mayo)... and its variation, a

BOLT (bacon, onion, lettuce, & tomato)

Caveat: These are summer sammiches only.

Here we eat BMWs-- Bacon and Mircle Whip on toast... with no veggies to mess it up. ;) Can be eaten year-round. Delish!

I also like, but only occasionally eat a BELT - bacon, egg, lettuce, & tomato. I say occasionally because I won't consciously set out to make one; however, if I happen to find a hard boiled egg in the ice box....

My favorite sammwiches are:

Beefsteak tomato with mayo salt and pepper
grilled coagulated milk to go with tomato soup for dipping
fried egg with mayo and salt and pepper
peatnut butter, bananas and nutella
most any deli sandwich with a potato chip layer.

Hmmm my favorites
Jimmy Johns #5 Vito with peppers on the side
Ruben
BLT with homegrown tomatoes. In the summertime we have so many tomatoes that we end up eating these practically every day
Turkey with cranberry sauce lettuce tomato and mayo (a good way to use up Thanksgiving left overs)
Nutella and banana on whole wheat. Good for breakfast or dessert!

Also on any sandwich brown mustard is far superior to yellow.

Either Geno's or Pat's and about a hundred other small hole in the wall places - that's where you get the best food, in the places that you discover along the way.

Glad someone here gets the Philly sandwich situation!

I go up to the Italian Market every year (up = I'm from South Jersey) to buy goodies for Christmas, and we always end up eating our way through. It's a little bit sketchy around there nowadays, but there's still nothing like it.

So HP is a steak sauce? I have seen it in places, must give it a go. ;)

I had a simple sammich today of glazed ham on a dinner roll with this raw garlic dip/spread that my brother makes. Yum! :eat:
