OnlySunshine
I am seriously reconsidering the healthcare field. I have a knack for it and if I get in the right field that I both enjoy and am profitable in, I know it would be great. I talked with my mom and I am seriously considering nursing (RN). I believe I did not give the nursing field a long enough chance and when I look back on what my job was like at the nursing home (though, let's be honest, it had really BAD experiences), I LOVED being with the patients. I just hated the physical labor part of lifting and transferring. I thoroughly enjoy learning about human anatomy and biology. Social Work has never been a passion of mine. It just came up recently and (honestly) I think it was a way out of what I really am passionate about but was too scared to pursue. I'm looking for a full-time job right now, but I am going back to school in the fall (if not sooner) and I am going to take some prerequisite courses that I would need: Human Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 with Lab Microbiology with Lab My CNA teacher (who was an RN) told me that she believed I really should go farther than being a Nursing Assistant. She told my mom that she saw that spark in me that I was motivated and should continue on in the nursing field. I keep remembering that. Please pray for me because this is something I need to make a decision on before the fall because if I decide against the Nursing field, I need to apply to the 4-year university. Thanks!
