Also, "Why I know I'm supposed to be a nun."

I realized today how much I love the name Anselm.[/quote]

There's a college right near my work called St. Anselm College :)

I figure I'm being mean enough by naming my first little girl Philomena. Despite planning on giving her a nickname pre-emptively, I get the feeling my Grandma will insist on calling her "Philly" or something stupid like that.

One of the youth ministers i have had named his daughter Philomena, but as a nickname they call her Mena, which is very cute if you ask me. I love the name Philomena by the way.

Strangest names I have heard:

Ima Hog
Chris P. Bacon
Andrew Peacock

and others that I wont mention because of a G rated audience haha :)

But for names my favorites are:
Catherine Maude
Matthew Tomas
Emmet Micheal
Jane Philomena
Marie Evangeline
Amelia
Margaret

I was blessed to name one of my baby brothers in heaven :) I have always been obsessed over names.

My mom said I could name a daughter Hildegard and call her Hilly. Or my religious name could be Hildegard and my students could call me Sr. Hilly. :)

This was after I gushed about my admiration of Hildegard for a long time!
