Could Single Girls Benefit From Going To Theology On Tap?

In Chicago, it normally is presented at a parish and not a bar/restaurant.

I would just endeavor to make sure the theology being presented is faithful to the Church, [/quote]

From my experiences in Chicago "back in the day", that would be my concern as well.

on campus, it's advertised exclusively for the guys...
besides, i'm not 21 so my opinion is practically useless. lol,

That's not theology on tap. It's put on by the men's group, that's why its guys only.

Everyone can benefit from Theology on Tap. I was a TOT organizer for a while. There were many single gals in attendance. Tough they really didn't understand the whole tap thing.

The Theology on Taps that I've been to have been pretty excellent. They were also fairly structured - someone gave a talk, and then had questions prepared if none arose organically. Somehow they attracted the super Catholic and the not-so-practicing. It was a strange combination.

Ours are pretty much the same way. It's not a pressured situation to drink or get dates, but I do enjoy a tall razzle dazzle Guiness while I discuss Theological matters sometimes :)

This is why I never leave my couch

So you have TOC instead of TOT, then. (Theology on Couch)

Mount St. Mary's wins. Boys AND Girls get to get together and do theology in a bar. :cheers2:

I got to do this at a secular public university. So I win. I paid less for tuition. ;) :hehe:

Not female, but I could've benefited from this type of thing while in college. At that point of my life, I'm not sure that I would've been receptive to an invitation, but assuming I did attend these events, I may have returned to Our Faith a little sooner.

Glad to know that these events exist. Sounds razzle dazzle.
