Lil Red
What would be a good religious gift for a 2 1/2 year old? I cannot figure out what to get my little boy! I already know what religious gift his sister is getting for Christmas, but don't know about her brother. help from other parents or aunts/uncles? homeschoolmom
You mean some sort of decoration or something? Or do you mean something to play with? homeschoolmom
Or.... another idea. Miniature Mass Kit which is really pricey, but you could get this and give him one or two pieces at a time for holidays until he has enough (and is old enough) to use it. Lisa
There's also this one, which might be better for a 2 1/2-3 yr old. http://www.catholicc...CFRDHKgodAllaTA Still kind of expensive, though (and probably good for fewer years). Do you know how to sew? Edited December 9, 2011 by Lisa
Oh my gosh, we had loads of fun with our Mass kit when I was little. Someone would be the priest and give a homily and then other kids would be the altar servers, and someone would do the reading. Hilarious, especially with a big family of little kids. Totus Tuus
A 2 1/2 year old is pretty little. I think when we were that little my mom always got the kids picture books. My only memories of Christian toys when my siblings were that young is of Children's Bibles and saints stories. I didn't have that stuff when I was that little because we weren't *really* Catholic until I was about 7.
