Wow.....

The Angels just either made the most brilliant decision ever, or they will shortly go the way of the Dodgers. And well I do feel that players like C.J. Wilson are are treated as a bigger power swing than they really are when they change during the offseason, there can be no doubt that the Angels just bought themselves a $300 million dollar target on their backs. They better live up to it, because I know quite a few teams are going to just love it if they can go into Angel Stadium and take 2 of 3.

Angels??

I don't see this making them much better in the short term. Unless they plan on spending Red Sox/Phillies money, they're going to end up losing a few of their other players. Don't they still have to sign a few of their own guys?

Angels are insane for giving 10 years, $250M to a 32 year old. And the Cardinals are right for not making a counter offer.

Well the Angels can do something that the Cardinals can't. they can make him a DH in eight years.

i'm not watching... any news regarding teh Texas Rangers???

They lost CJ Wilson to a divisional rival, so bad news for your Rangers.

I actually think the CJ signing will help the Angels a lot, and they got him for a very reasonable price.

True. But now he will be seeing a whole set of pitchers for the first time.

From what I hear, they're not even sure exactly how old he is - apprently he's been vague about that.

That only works for a pitcher.

I don't think that will make one bit of difference to Albert. If it does, I will be completely shocked out of my shoes
