MrsFrozen
Well, I do think it's a sin. The Church teaches us to obey our secular law, for one thing. Secondly, God gave us this Earth to use. It's His. We should take care of it. Thirdly, I used to smoke, and the reason I threw my cigarette butts out the window was because I was lazy! Don't know if that's the case for you, though. God bless. pinstripes
i suppose that if there wasn't a place for butts to go, then throwing them anywhere would be fine... but... they can always go in the trash.
Livin_the_MASS
oh yeah we smoke forgot to put that
I would say this would be the bigger issue. I used to smoke I quite by God's grace. But if you read Sacerd Scripture your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit! I think God would be more concerned with your body which is His temple than throwing butts on the ground (just my opinion) God Bless Jason
Dave
Here's another reason not to throw cigarette butts out (at least if you're driving) -- the butts could land under a vehicle that happened to be leaking gasoline or any other hazardous material. The result would be a fireball.
