MissScripture
So, we went to a pizza place on Saturday that made gluten free pizzas, and I thought of you, and then realized you were probably allergic to the rest of the ingredients.
missionseeker
My dentist wants me to stop eating dairy, but I won't My ROOMMATE is allergic to dairy. But she mentioned St. Nick's day and now I feel bad. We didn't really start doing anything as a tradition until I was like 15, so I don't really think about it. SO .. it's midnight and I'm gonna hope this ginger stuff comes out nicely. haha.
MissScripture
So, what does your dentist propose you eat? Because you're kind of a little limited already... (And out of curiosity, why, if you don't mind sharing? I've never heard of dairy being a problem for dental stuff)
missionseeker
Welll... It is a long story, so I will post it after I finish with these. Which may be in the morning. But I'll post it. lol.
missionseeker
Note to self: not a fan of coconut oil. My roommate also tries to avoid soy. Between the two of us we can eat... peanutbutter. Which is surprising. Together we have gluten, dairy, egg, soy sensitivities/intolerances/allgergies. I'm not sure how I feel about these cookies. missionseeker
and I would have made them with regular flour, but I don't have any.
missionseeker
of course, the flour is not the problem. It's the butter. This is hard.
missionseeker
Ok so basically, I was at the pub and so was the dentist and we both pretty tipsy and she said "LET ME FIX YOUR TEETH!" and I was like "IF YOU DO IT FOR FREE, SURE!" and she was all "NO REALLY, LET ME FIX YOUR TEETH!" (This is all in caps cuz it was loud in there) So then I was at the bar, ordering more, and she came up to me and she said "It looks like what happened is that you had respiratory issues as a child, - probably as a result of an allergy to eggs or wheat and dairy - and because you couldn't breathe through your nose, you wound up breathing with your mouth open which caused your upper palate to be high and narrow (deformed!) and cause space issues in your mouth" And I was like I was unable to breathe with my mouth closed until I had surgery at age 5 AND I was allergic to eggs (and now, obviously I know there were issues with wheat as well. And honestly, I SHOULD stop eating dairy, but ... yeah no. and there ya go.
MissScripture
Oookay, so it's not like dairy is rotting your teeth or something. Speaking of dentists, I should really go see one. I haven't been to a dentist in a couple years. I hope I can find one I like better than the one I had growing up.
