Thanks for posting. Article 16 is interesting, it rates the family unit as fundamental of society but does not define what a family unit is nor what is meant by marriage other than that it it is the founding of marriage. This probably doesn't then recognise defacto or split marriage or solo parent as family unit. Hmmm, it doesn't explicitly state that a family must be founded by marriage though. It is quite vague.
