Gabriela
I've been wondering: Where can I get a good, American-made (preferably nun-/monk-made) advent wreath or ring? I've been to the monks of St. Meinrad Abbey, but all the stuff in their gift shop is from China (or similar).

arfink
Arfink's — Home I know it's not really ready, but it's there if you want to look. I'm trying to get some more designs ready in time for Christmas, but I don't know if I'll be able to. I do special pieces for people all the time though, and I'm really quite willing to work something out. My prices are very flexible too at this point. missionseeker
If you paid by credit card, you can call the credit card company and file a case. They'll get the money back to you in a few days. And it'll ruin the store's credit with the company. I did this recently with a company that also never delivered. Even if you don't do it for yourself, you should do it for others who might use the same credit card with that store.
Debit.

Norseman82
Another thing to consider would be to find the companies that Catholic mutual funds invest in and patronize them. Here is theAve Maria funds semi-annual report for one example: http://avemariafunds...Report-2012.pdf Edited November 19, 2012 by Norseman82

OnlySunshine
Discount catholic store is a sham. I bought something from them months ago. Never got it. Went to call their number. It's 1800- JESUS. Seriously? How's that work. Anyway. Can't call them, no response to the email. But they took my money, so... This is the number I see on the top below the title: US Toll Free (888)664-1123
missionseeker
You can't speak to real people and the machine cuts off after about 15 seconds. Not enough time say your name, order number, question and phone number.
