I have a friend, who in secret I'm tring to convert to the truth, he's willing to listen asks questions etc.
I can sense his main problem is the fact the he's been married before, in a protestant church, We both know what our Lord said concerning re-marriage, "whoever.....commits adultry" His wife over many years turned out to be very unstable, she has serious phsycological issues, wanting to move every few months, various men during her marriage, he put up with all sorts of issues, but she left him many times. He tried the make it work in all sort of ways, but from what it seems like his wife should have never married in the first place. If he was to convert would he be able to re-marry in a catholic church? since he was a victim in his first marriage?

In order to remarry in the Catholic Church, he would have to go through a Catholic annulment. That may seem strange since he wasn't Catholic when he got married, but that's how it works. He would have to show that his original wedding didn't result in a truly sacramental marriage forming. We always assume that a true bond was made until and unless it is shown otherwise. There are many issues that can interfere with the formation of this bond, such as one partner not believing that marriage should be forever, or immaturity (and that has nothing to do with their actual ages). He can make an appointment with any priest to discuss the matter. Some priests are better at dealing with tribunal issues than others, so he might have to shop around to find one that really knows his stuff.
