While part of me did think of DT when I made the OP, I thought of Spacebattles even more. One guy there boasts he's not going to change his opinion just because you come up with a few dozen sources saying he's wrong.

Yeah...the only reason that person hasn't been banned from debating on Spacebattles is, and I paraphrase an admin there, "We like to have someone around for people to sharpen their research skills with, before they talk to normal people".
