KarenJoanna
Is it valid and mostly, what i mean by valid is that if it washed away all mortal sin because i was baptised at 13, and before being baptised I was really disrespected to my parents and other mortal sins too and after baptism, I kept doing those sins without trying to prevent them and amend my life. I do remember that I tried to amend my life but after a short while, i fell back into mortal sin again and well, since I didn't even know what was a mortal sin in baptism and that it washed away all your sins, I probably was not repentant and did not amend my life and I think that therefore, i have to confess my sins before baptism too. should i do this? CatherineM
Baptism washes away all sin. If we fall into sin later, we have the comfort of reconciliation. Sinning later does not make a valid baptism invalid. Sacraments make permanent impressions to our souls. They can't be undone later.
